Fit Check
As my mother would say, "It's not a fashion show." We are dressing practical out here folks, but that doesn't mean we can't look good doing it.
While out on the mountain, layering is the way to go, so let's break it down:
Base Layer: One word—wool. Wool will keep you dry, comfortable, and warm, unlike cotton, which can absorb moisture and make you colder faster. Don't forget a pair of wool socks too!
Outer Layer: Up top, we recommend a hard, waterproof shell to help protect you from wind and snow. On the bottom, a good pair of ski pants or bibs if you're cool like that.
Everything Else: A pair of gloves and/or mittens for those really cold days. Ski goggles or sunglasses will do too. And last but certainly not least, a properly fitting helmet.
