The Alpine

Each year, The Alpine plays host to Michigan's Tournament of Champions. Once you've played the course, you'll understand why.

A View From The Top

With its spectacular mountain setting and panoramic views towards Deer Lake, The Alpine’s surroundings are every bit as breathtaking as its noteworthy design. Known for its open, playable layout that trends down the mountain, solid drives are rewarded, and its forgiving greens can bolster confidence in your short game.

Course Tour

The Alpine

Based on golf architect Ray Hearn's recommendations, several updates have been made to The Alpine. They begin on number one and carry throughout the entire course. We have extended the fairway cuts to widen and lengthen the fairways, as well as around the greens, to offer more shot options into the green. Ray’s intent was to increase the playability while respecting the original course design.

Hole 1

Par 4 413 Yards

The first hole starts with a dramatic tee shot that drops in elevation to the fairway below. There is some room to the right, but the hole becomes much longer. A fairway bunker down the left will keep your greedy side honest. The green slopes from the back left to the front bunker.
