Knit for a Cause
Thank you, Knit the Bridge participants! We were thrilled with the artfully curated knit and crochet panels that adorned SkyBridge Michigan for all to enjoy in early June. With the playful colors of a Michigan summer as our artists' muse, we have an array of blankets ready to raise funds for the Women's Resource Center of Northern Michigan.
Silent Auction | Saturday, October 5
After carefully considering how to keep the "fun" in fundraising, we decided to host a silent auction showcasing 50 Knit the Bridge blankets at our favorite fall festival, Skitoberfest! As the weather starts to turn to winter, it's the perfect time to go home with a beautifully designed blanket to keep warm as the snow begins to fall.
What about the other 100 blankets?!
You have no idea how hard it was to organize these amazing blankets. We so appreciate everyone's time and creativity. We donated over 100 panels to the Gold Mine Resale Shop and they go on sale this week!

- Knit panels are at the original Gold Mine, 1002 Emmet Street in Petoskey
- Gold Mine Resale Shop is owned and operated by Women's Resource Center
- 100% of proceeds are helping women and children in northern Michigan
- Start prepping for the next Knit the Bridge | June 14, 2025

One dollar for every SkyBridge Michigan ticket sold during the Knit the Bridge display benefitted the Women's Resource Center of Northern Michigan. Together we raised $3,649!
